FoodPrep Inc. complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any applicable provincial privacy laws. FoodPrep Inc. has created this privacy Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of the customers of FoodPrep’s products and services and other persons visiting the FoodPrep Inc. website. We are required to gather important information from our customers therefore this Privacy Policy outlines our information gathering and dissemination practices.
To accurately setup new customer accounts, we require Customers to provide us with contact information for the Customer, such as their name, address, phone number, and e-mail address.
FoodPrep Inc. uses the information that we collect to set up the FoodPrep Inc. application for Customers, to manage Customers’ accounts, to communicate with Customers about training and other services. We may also use the information we collect to contact Customers to provide information about FoodPrep Inc.’s new products or services. Customers can opt out of receiving these communications by replying to them at the time they are distributed or at any time by e-mailing training@foodprep.ca. Customers cannot, however, opt out of communications required to administer the service provided by FoodPrep Inc..
Customers of the FoodPrep Inc. application will be using the FoodPrep Inc. application to host their data and information (“Data”). Customer Data may at times be viewed or accessed by authorized FoodPrep Inc. employees, contractors and representatives only for the purposes of ensuring the proper operation and provision of the FoodPrep Inc. application, such as resolving a technical problem or support issue, or for investigating and addressing a suspected violation of the Terms of Use. FoodPrep Inc. will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data, except as provided in this Privacy Policy, the FoodPrep Inc. Terms of Use, or as may be required by law. Of course, Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password, and you can and should take steps to do so.
FoodPrep Inc. will ensure all information collected is relevant to that purpose, is not excessive, and is accurate, up to date and complete, and that the collection of the information does not intrude on the personal affairs of the individual; no information will be kept longer than is necessary and will be disposed of securely. FoodPrep Inc. is obliged to maintain Customer information with respect to training records, including access history and test results. Where possible, FoodPrep Inc. will not retain information longer than is necessary. If personal information is disclosed to a person or body that is a public sector agency, FoodPrep Inc. will ensure that agency does not use or disclose the information for a purpose other than the purpose for which the information was given to it.
